When the going get tough the tough get saving. In times when the economy is hard, living a simple and frugal life is something that we have to learn to do unless you are independently wealthy or come from money. Sadly, most people have little to no knowledge when it comes to money matters. Saving and spending wisely is a habit that we should all learn to master but few of us have ever had a lesson. In a book by Clark Howard, he discusses how people can save and still be able to provide for their family’s needs. He mentions that it is never too early or too late to save for your retirement. He encourages everyone to set aside a certain amount of money each month for their retirement fund. He also gives tips on things that we can do daily to save more then we ever thought possible. Things like buying supplies in bulk can make us save a lot more than when we buy them in singles. Walking instead of driving to places that are not really that far saves you money that you would usually set aside for buying gasoline. Knowing how to reuse and recycle can work to your advantage. Buying things you need like prescription sunglasses from sites that offer quality products at cheaper prices is something that you should always be conscious about.
